Tetra methyl ortho silicate[COUPSYL® TMS 39]
Tetra-methyl ortho-silicate, also known as tetra-methoxy silan, is a flammable, colorless liquid with a medium boiling point and low viscosity. This substance has a pungent odor and is very toxic. It is also soluble in alcohols and most common solvents and is hydrolyzed and degraded in contact with moisture.

Package and shipping
Methyl silicate can be stored in plastic or metal tanks. This material should be kept away from flames or sparks. This product is offered in 20 and 200 kg plastic tanks. Due to the absorption of atmospheric moisture, it should be kept in original containers and sealed.
Maintenance method
Store in the original container and sealed in a dry, low-light environment at a temperature of 10-30 C to prevent evaporation and hydrolysis of the material. If this product comes in contact with the skin, it should be washed off immediately with water. See your doctor if swallowed. This material is flammable and its vapors are toxic.
